"That said, Gryphon is starting from a clean slate without any legacy issues, which can be useful in terms of technology, and it is always good to see another player in the market place.
"As an adviser, it is always good to have more options for clients. If Gryphon can offer far more efficiency through technology, it will be interesting to see if this newcomer can offer lower premiums as a result."
